Ø Artists have lived, great
works have they done
But
there is this artist, whose artistry is supreme.
Beautifully
He has made man in His image.
He made animals both great and small.
The beautiful
nature has he made:
The birds with colours so
beautiful, with shiny wings they sing sweetly
The flowers oh!
So beautiful; pink, red, purple and blue
The trees with
leaves so green, dancing in unison to the wind
He is the
maker of the rain that falls for all, both small and great.
The
maker and painter of the sky, the sky has He painted blue
The air He
made that man may breathe
He made the day
and the night, light and darkness.
He that has made the
beautiful flowers, oh how beautiful He would be!
He that has made the
radiant stars, can His radiance be described?
He that has made the
bright sun, can His brightness be described?
He that made the high
mountains, is not He higher than the mountains?
He that has made the deepest
seas, can His ways any man know?
Ø Silver and gold belongs to
Him
The wealth and treasures
of the earth belong to Him
He knows the
unknown, for all the secrets of the earth to Him are known
Thrones and
Kingdoms are but for a while
But His throne
forever will be.
Ø Write no more I said to
myself
For even if the pens and
the books of the whole world
Were before me,
they would not do.
And if I had
known all the words in the whole world,
None would
befit Him.
His might,
beauty and greatness are beyond what tongue can tell;
What thought
can think;
What mind can
imagine;
And beyond
what a pen can write.
